THE OLIVEWOOD MISSION PROJECT

As we have done for the past several years, we invite you once again to lend your caring support to our Calvary mission project to help support Palestinian Christians living in Bethlehem, the city where our Savior Jesus Christ was born. Through the sale of handmade olivewood carvings, 46 Christian families supplement their income and are able to remain in what is now occupied territory.
A display table with a wide variety of carvings focused on the events of Jesus’ birth at Christmas to his suffering and death on the cross will be available by the Welcome Center. The carvings will be on sale every Sunday morning leading up to Christmas. Please consider purchasing a carving as a wonderful gift to give at Christmas, and show compassion at the same time to Christian brothers and sisters who continue to live in the land where Jesus walked. All proceeds from the sale go directly to the woodcarvers and their families.
